there should be a list what is working still and what is not, all kind of plugins of every brand, more things don't work anymore than before, i even read the plugins that comes with the Suite are not working, they are working on it, no idea if they even tested it all now...That way the suite price is ridiculous overpriced
Yes. This is a bummer. Pluraleyes has been very, VERY helpful to me. I love using it as a plug-in. Does this mean that Versions 2 and 3 will not be supported in Vegas 14 and going forward. I think Pluraleyes 4.1 is a stand alone and not meant to work as a plugin -- or is it? For those of us using separate "wild" recorders for sync audio this is distressing news.
Thats a bummer.. Pluraleyes is excellent, would miss that greatly.
If Plural Eyes doesn't work this wil be a deal breaker for me until Red Giant comes out w/ an upgrade that works w/ VP14. Thanks for testing before I purchase. (;
Yes, I synced in VP13, then saved then opened in VP14. It works. HOWEVER, my OCD wants to have a clean system with only the latest software installed, so extra versions HAVING to be installed will drive me nuts.

Who is at fault here? Nothing changed in PluralEyes Versions 2 or 3 .. Seems to me the fix should come from Magix -- or would it be Red Giant's job to patch Versions 2 and 3 to work with VP14 ? At least Magix has extended the upgrade offer to Oct 16th giving me more time to make up my mind to spend $249 on something that has lost a key function for me -- PluralEyes.
Most OpenFX plug-in hosts (aka like Vegas) will load any OFX plug-in installed. A lot of OFX plug-ins check and validate the host that is trying to load them and may reject the host unless it is in a list of known supported/tested hosts where the plug-in opertates properly.
It could well be that PluralEyes is rejecting the new Vegas version.
Great! So back in July, I purchased the RG Upgrade to PE4. I'm now wondering if even back then RG already knew it wouldn't work in VP14, and also had no going-forward plans to develop it for MAGIX VegasPro 14? If so, then more fool me.
Realistically, it's business and I really shouldn't grumble.
i think that's why many of us waited to see what was being offered in 14 and whether it worked or not, and perhaps magix knew beforehand that 14 was half-baked and thus the 'urgency' for everyone to upgrade before the facts were known?
anyway grazie, we've all made bad decisions before, and i'm sure i'm going to be making more bad decisions in the future, but buying 14 isn't going to be one of them ;-)
