For those here in the Sony forums, here is a quiet preannouncement of the first VASST tour to go out this year. 2 days of training, one day hardcore ACID for Non-Linear Editors, and one day of Surround Sound training.

If you sign up for the SURROUNDED! class, which is on Friday, you don't get the Acid class which is on Saturday. If you sign up for the Acid class which is on Saturday, you don't get the SURROUNDED! class which is on Friday. You can sign up for both days and save up to 200.00 as a member of this forum and a past VASST attendee.

Is there a place where you can put your name as interested in attending for a city that is not yet scheduled? For example. I would be down for a NYC tour if you are trying to gauge interest.

On the website, there is a tour sign up/mailer sign up, but you can always send mail to mannie (at) sundancemediagroup.com and he'll put you on the list.
We'd discussed NYC (and Dallas) but we need to do the cities where we are seeing strong input. We want to come whereever you want us though!
We've got several tours launching this year, due to 3 new trainers on our roster, and NYC is slated for at least 2 of the new tours, maybe more.
