So I am having preview lag really bad during editing. Any edits to clips results in a stutter or lag when moving from one clip to the next. New to this software and generally editing, I usually just cut the video and timeline. I am using 23.0 on windows, my PC stats are 11 gen i7 NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX,
What kind of edits are you trying to make? FX, pan/crop, etc? Make sure you have right-clicked on the preview and selected the option for automatic quality adjustment for the best performance.
Just simple cuts and connecting clips. I have that clicked already, but I think the issue is they are LOG from iphone black magic camera app h.265 2160 x 3840 so read vegas doesnt do well with this and its a bit confusing. Do you have any ideas?
Can you share the settings you used in the app? Or MediaInfo? Avoid 10 bit 422 as most GPUs can't decode it.
