it does not permanently disable, you have to turn it off every time you restart Vegas. it is a pain as I do not use it

got it but it still does not disable zoom permanently, I have to check it off every time I start Vegas..

With this method here, it keeps track of when Vegas is closed and opened again.

However, this is jerry-rigged, not official. When you change the preview quality it resizes accordingly.

then it is not scaled at all the way you are telling me. I want it to stay scaled at 100 percent of the preview screen size and bypass Zoom without having to check "Bypass zoom every time I open Vegas, This was a feature added in Version 20 that so far I have not been to disable without disabling scaling the preview screen, perhaps I was not clear in my question.
