OK .. at this point, I cannot be of any more help - sorry.

I only have MS v12 installed and the project file I downloaded does NOT open in Vegas Pro 13.

You may need to take this problem to the Movie Studio forum and see if someone there can help.

perhaps the issue is I download the update to pro?

You can check that either on the start-up splash screen or once up, Help .. About..

If you installed VP13, then you'd need a serial number otherwise you are in trial mode and perhaps not all things work the same as in the unlocked version.

it looks like I have version 13 build 879 64-bit, I remember doing an update to fix some things and it could have been the pro update instead of movie studio. That might explain this. Anyway to roll back the update?

I just found vegas pro version 13.0 (64 bit) 13.0.10 in my control panel. It was download May 22. That is when this issue started. I bet that is the problem. I will try and uninstall it and see if that fixes this issue. Thanks for all your help with this matter.

Vegas Pro does NOT update/upgrade MS Platinum. Two separate products.
Vegas Pro is at build 310...

No way to roll back unless you created a Windows restore point before the update.

Older versions can be found here.

It seems that there is a later build of MS 13, but not earlier. You could always re-install the one you had - I am guessing it was not MS 13.
