Problem with Importing previous projects into Vegas 23

I've been using Vegas Pro 18 for years but decided to upgrade to 23 when I heard there was stability improvements. Indeed I find it to run noticeably smoother, but I'm having a strange issue I haven't seen anyone else talk about.

When I open my previous projects from VP 18 in VP 23, All the splices on my timeline are offset by just a hair, as if the whole splice has been shifted backwards relative to the media by a few frames. This basically makes my previously existing projects useless because I would have to edit every single splice to line up how it did originally. Does anyone have an answer to this?

I have not see anything like this or anyone reporting this. Are your Quantize settings different in VP 18 and VP 23?

Do you mean the "Quantize to Frames" checkbox? Those are both checked in 18 and 23. Or is there another setting I should look at?

Here's an example of it happening... It's easier to hear the change than to see it. You can't even hear the rapid arpeggio in VP 23 because the media has been shifted out of the splice

Another guess is - maybe an offset issue for audio decoding? Can you share MediaInfo for the main media types in use? https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-to-post-mediainfo-and-vegas-pro-file-properties--104561/
