Problem with no audio in playback

I purchased a new Movie Studio HD platinum 11 on ebay so as to match my computer Windows requirements. Editing mp4 files from Legacy Box/home movies. Problem that I'm having is the imported file shows that their is audio on voice track and in the mixer wjindow when playing, but no audio comes out the speaker. I leave the program and open the file in widows and sound comes out of speakers. I've gone to options, preferences, audio device. I've tried Microsoft sound mapper, direct sound mapper and windows classic wave mapper with every option that I can change and no audio. Speakers are real tek, and I think this is the audio driver NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM).

What am I doing wrong?

Maybe that you use nowadays a program from 10 years ago?
