What graphics card are you using? If it's AMD Vega, it's a known issue. See this: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/vegas-pro-14-and-radeon-vega-frontier-edition-issue--107190/

Thanks I tried to used driver 18.2.1 and it works now

Thanks for the feedback and glad you found a solution. Previously were you using the latest driver (18.2.2) or an older driver?

LindaSunshine wrote on 2/16/2018, 11:23 PM

previously I was using old driver and after I update it for recommended 18.2.1 it works crossfire between Vega 56, but honestly I got better rendering times with 2 RX580 :-( Thinking to buy new titan Volta for $4400 AUD. But I'm not sure if I will benefiting or decrease the rendering time of 4K footage using boris fx. Anyone have experience with new titan volta or better to use quad P6000

Thanks for the info. Hopefully the blue issue has gone for everyone with the recent drivers.

AMD VCE rendering support has been mentioned (see here & here), which could make a huge difference in speed when/if it arrives.

I haven't seen any mention of those 2 NVIDIA cards on the forum. I would say it's a bit of a gamble whether NVENC works correctly with them.

[Edited out a misleading paragraph where I mistook the AMD RX580 for the NVIDIA GTX580!]
