I though it would be the GPU right at the beginning of this thread.

(Intel 3rd gen i5@4.1GHz, 32GB RAM, SSD, 1080Ti GPU, Windows 10) Not now used with Vegas.

13th gen i913900K - water cooled, 96GB RAM, 4TB M2 drive, 4TB games SSD, 2TB video SSD, GPU RTX 4080 Super, Windows 11 pro

Minimum CPU Requirements for Vegas Pro 20

System requirements

Recommended for HD

Operating system

Microsoft® Windows 10 | 11

CPU

6th Generation Intel Core i5 (or AMD equivalent) or better with 2.5 Ghz and 4 Cores

GPU

NVIDIA® GeForce RTX or GTX 9XX series or higher with 4GB

AMD/ATI® Radeon with 4GB and VCE 3.0 or higher (Radeon Pro series with 8GB for HDR and 32 bit projects)

Intel® GPU HD Graphics 530 series or higher

Though the Xeon processor can be used to build a formidable system. Yours is just six years too old.

Intel launched the 6th Generation in 2016.

If you want to ease into GPU decoding / acceleration / rendering with your current system, you might start here:

Hello everyone!
First I want to thank everyone for your help, I felt supported by you at all times and your interest in helping made me fall in love.

I finally bought a new graphics card and the problem disappeared, nothing to install it on my pc, now vegas20 works like a japanese high speed train!!

I hope that everything that is written here is useful in the future if someone has the same problem that I had, this is the graph that I finally bought:

Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Gaming OC 12GB V2 LHR Graphics Card, GV-N3060GAMING OC-12GD V2, Multicolor

The power cable of this graph is 8-pin and the z600 already had a 6-pin power cable incorporated, in my case I needed a jumper cable from 6-pin to 8-pin, here I also leave the cable I bought, they come with 2 cables so you can keep the other one as reserve or go crazy and mount another graphic on your pc hehe.

Once again my eternal thanks to everyone, you are the best community!
