Program crashes before it opens

After vegas 20 recently updated I have been unable to open the software. It begins to open with the blue screen with the loading bar, loads all the way, then says vegas has stopped working and crashes. Every single time. If there a fix for this? I have tried everything on google but nothing is helping.
