Project statistics request

Hello. We'd like to gather some statistics regarding average and maximum video track counts. Don't worry, we're not thinking about limiting your track count; we'd just like to have some statistics for a feature we're working on. If you have the time, could you please take a look at some of your typical projects and post the average and maximum video track count. Also, how much RAM is in your editing computer? This data will help us optimize this feature for real-world projects.

Lately, not more than about seven, and usually around four. If I'm making something like an effect with many layers, I'll render it out to DV and use that in the project, so most projects don't have so many layers.

The main reason I use few layers is so I don't have to scroll up and down to see all the tracks.

Here's my estimates:

Average: 4 tracks
Maximum: 6 tracks
RAM: half a gig

I'm new to Vegas so I don't have a feel for what number of tracks will average out in the future. Typical is 2, max 3 so far.

Average is usually 4 video and 2 audio. Maximum video tracks 12.

RAM is 640MB
