Project statistics request

Hello. We'd like to gather some statistics regarding average and maximum video track counts. Don't worry, we're not thinking about limiting your track count; we'd just like to have some statistics for a feature we're working on. If you have the time, could you please take a look at some of your typical projects and post the average and maximum video track count. Also, how much RAM is in your editing computer? This data will help us optimize this feature for real-world projects.

Average: 4 video and 2 audio tracks
Max: 6-8 video and 4 audio tracks
RAM: 640 (1 gig next time)

I use an average of 6 video tracks.

I have a gig of DDR400 RAM in my editing PC.

Update to previous reply: Latest two projects, finished yesterday and today.

10 A/V pairs, plus 3 audio only.
17 A/V pairs, plus 7 audio only.

Average: 4 to 6 tracks
Max: Probably about 12 or 14

BUT: sometimes I'll have as many as 24 or 32 addio tracks in the same project. I don't usually have the (majority) of the audio active while working with video, but it would be nice if I could!

RAM: One machine has 512 meg, the other 1 gig.

I average 4-5. The most I've used is about 8, but I'm expecting to do projects in the near future that will use more like 15.

How much RAM is in your editing computer?
