Peter,
How would one save all relative .wavs, and bus/effect
settings for portability? I would like to be able to save
a song in progress in Vegas, (and Acid as well), burn a cd
of all the files, and then take it from one studio to the
next to mix in a better room. I realize I would need two
copies of the program and all of the same plug-ins at each
end. Studios would love this feature, but I'd hate to drag
a removable drive along.
It would be great to save the work, all the plug-in and bus
settings, as well as automation and pan settings on a cd.
One could then open a work in progress elsewhere to finish
up. Is this possible already? I know it works for Acid
because I see the demo songs that can be downloaded
intact. How is it done in Acid, by saving all of the loops
and .wavs and naming it all to one folder? How would one
do so for Vegas?
