The videos that I rendered in Sony Vegas Pro 13 look much brighter than the preview. Here are the settings for my rendering and screenshots: http://imgur.com/a/tcLtC

Picture 1: The snapshot from the preview

Picture 2: The screenshot of the output (rendered video)

Picture 3: Project Properties

Picture 4: Output Format

For some reasons I can't post images here so sorry!

PLEASE HELP!!!

Thank you so much for the link. There're some parts that I don't really understand. So there're 4 methods I can do (I haven't tried them out yet and I don't understand the first one), will they make my preview looks like the rendered video or make my rendered video looks like the preview?

Those 4 sections of the post are not 4 methods you can do. They're just numbered parts of the post. It's not the best structured post to be honest and I need to revise and expand it.

Are you only monitoring in the Vegas Preview window (as opposed to monitoring full-screen on a secondary monitor)? If so, then I recommend you do this part first:

Install SeMW Extensions. Enable its Preview levels extension (Tools menu > Extensions), which will put a new drop-down menu above the Vegas preview window. In that dropdown menu choose "PC". You can safely render with that set, as it applies to preview only.

That should make your rendered video look like your preview. i.e. Your preview and your rendered video should both look like your "output" picture. If that is too bright or contrasty for you, then use the various effects in Vegas (such as the Sony Levels FX) to make the brightness and contrast appear how you want.

This comment is a simplification but should hopefully help you.
