I can be hidden behind the taskbar or worse on another screen.
You can search it there or maybe get it back if you reset the program by starting it from the VPro 19 pic on your desktop with double click and hold Ctrl-Shift buttons

This has just happened to me again now, Reyfox very kindly helped me reinstall Vegas after the problems with the new update and the box came back however it's gone missing again. I also have no idea how to get it back other than reinstalling everything how Reyfox very kindly helped me with however I don't see much point if it just randomly disappears again after so long.

There's a few people with this problem but no definitive fix, other than as mentioned above but yeah, I would love to be able to get it back too but don't want to reset everything only for it to go after a while 😔

You could try and use the free SeMW Extensions (Render progress) until this gets solved.

This works as an alternative and is great!! It's really good and pretty much the same as what we had before with Vegas, just the time remaining thing moves around a little more so I'm just getting used to it really however it's a great alternative and I'm so grateful for this. I'm so grateful to those here on the forum, some wonderful people so thank you!! 🙏😊

I encountered the hidden render window problem. On Windows, I right-click on the Windows Taskbar > Cascade Windows, which rearranged the windows to that the render window was revealed again.
Thought I would share since I had spent several months looking for a solution. Reinstalled, replaced .dll files. In the end, solution was simple once I knew it.
