Please post Project Properties, particularly look at Full Resolution Rendering Quality and Field Order.

Is your source 59.94 FPS or 60 FPS? Post Mediainfo report for the FRAPS capture.

Are you rendering with GPU if available or CPU Only?

Check event properties on the timeline for No Resample if frame rate mismatch.

I don't know how to get that out of Fraps, but I'm confident it's not Fraps. The raw footage looks great, and the preview in Sony Vegas looks great as well.

The project settings and render settings look OK. If the Vegas preview looks great then it's a rendering issue. What is the exact way in which it doesn't look HD? It would help if you post a link to a sample of the source media and the rendered video. Or at least post a screen grab. The MediaInfo output (as described in part 6 of the guide linked to in my last post) would also be useful.

I don't think I can upload the samples right now as I have to go, but it is more blurry. One thing I notice, when playing back in windows media player at the start it freezes in perfect quality on the first frame then skips forward to the actual video.
