You clicked wrong composite mode. What you clicked is parent track composite mode.

You need to click common composite mode but not parent track composite mode.

The common composite mode button has been hidden. You need to make it visible

@lan-mLMC AHA .. I missed that! Thank you very much. I will give it a try..

@lan-mLMC  I tried as you said and it seemed to work until I selected the Insert Layer and the image was not replaced! What I am missing?

Here is what happend:

Try new method :

@lan-mLMC  Thanks but this video is using the 2021 version not 2019 version! I bought the 2021 version and installed it, but I dont see it in Vegas FX list.. I only see the 2019 version!

Also I could not find a way to uninstall the 2019 version so for the moment I am stuck with it even though I own the latest version! I contacted Boris support and the Boris forum but nobody bothers to reply! 😞

You may also want to delete the files in C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\VEGAS Pro\<version #>

Make sure VP is closed and there aren't any zombie processes hanging about. If you're unsure, reboot first.

The next VP startup will be slower, so give it a minute or two depending on how many plugins you have installed.

The Boris folks haven't responded to your post on the forum because this is a weekend.

Also I could not find a way to uninstall the 2019 version

Delete folder "C:\Program Files\Common Files\OFX\Plugins\BorisFX\MochaPro2019".

Try launching VEGAS Pro. If there is still no Mocha 2021, Then reinstall Mocha 2021.

@lan-mLMC Thank you very much. I just tried that and it worked. I also installed 2021 version and now it shows up in Vegas. I will test Mocha and get back to you ..

Thanks @michael-harrison  I did not have to do that as @lan-mLMC idea worked already.

@lan-mLMC  So I tried the first methode and it works now but with a problem! The replaced image becomes stretched for some reason! Here is screenshots:

Any idea what is going on?

yassera-s wrote on 11/23/2020, 9:20 AM

Switch to insert tab to adjust it.

@lan-mLMC Thank you very much. I did the adjusting and it worked. By why this stretch is happening in the first place and how to avoid it without having to adjust from the Insert?

It may be a bug, and you can report it in Mocha forum to ask them fix it .
