Rendering problems

While trying to render in Sony Pro 16, the effects I've added to it are off. Some are misplaced, off center. some are almost non existent in the rendered version. I had the same problem on an earlier video but don't remember how I fixed it.

Windows 10, 2333ghz machine with 4 gig card, 32 gigs of ram.

The preview is fine, but while rendering I can see the effects are off.

effects are ignite light flares added to a jpeg, ignite shatter added to jpeg and ignite lightning added to scene via green screen and chroma key. As I mentioned did the 1st fx on previous video but don't remember how I fixed it.

I'm trying to render on a high setting. 4k 50fps but even taking it down I have the same problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Can you start a new sample project, apply the same FX and render successfully?

Stared new simpler project just as a test. Jpeg with ignite light flare. On preview everything is fine. after rendering flare is not where I wanted it to be.

You say "Ignite Light Flare" .. is that Hitfilm's Ignite Light Flare that you apply as an FX or that you do as "Generated Media" ?

Are you render pixel dimension also 2048 x 1152?

Set your Vegas Project Properties to 1920x1080 or 3840x2160. Apply your fX. Then, render to 1920x1080 or 3840x2160 and see if that looks right. I think you’re making this more complicated than it is.
