Resample Options and inconceivable results...

As many others, I noticed the resample options have been removed from Movie Studio. I have tried .avi files, .mp4, etc. For whatever reason, my .mp4 files (GoPro footage) has this blurriness affecting it but when I import a gaming video (.avi), there is no blurriness anywhere to be seen. Does anybody have a clue as to why this would happen?

P.S. the .avi files were in the FICV codec and the .mp4 files were straight from a GoPro Hero 1, and the .avi was a gaming video with around 50mbps.

Firstly make sure your project properties match your media as described in section 1 of this post: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-why-does-my-rendered-video-look-bad-troubleshooting-quality--103361/

If you are mixing media of frame rates and resolutions on the timeline then of course you can't match all the media.

Should I just convert the video files so that they are all Cineform or another codec and the same frame rates? The only problem is that this is happening on the same codec as the other videos. I am not 100% sure because I am on a secondary computer but the videos are definitely from the same camera from the same day. No change in resolution. Just possibly frame rate differences.

What are the frame rates?

Which frame rate does the majority of your footage have?

What is your delivery destination for your video (e.g. YouTube)?

MediaInfo or Vegas file properties will tell you the frame rates.

For whatever reason, everything started working now. Maybe it just got fixed in a patch or something, but all the clips are super sharp now. I checked with MediaInfo and Vegas properties and all the clips are 59.94 fps.
