Returning to Video Production

Hey everyone, sorry if this is the wrong place. I'm a returning editor who has done minimal production since 2014 and used to have Vegas Pro 14. I'm torn between getting the newest version of Pro or the new Edit option. I think I'd buy the Edit one time purchase but can't find much on it regarding tutorials, especially when compared to Pro. I'm no longer producing my football team's highlight videos, just looking to edit some OBS recorded gameplays and my brother's sporting events. I'm sure I hardly used all of the features Pro had on Version 14, but want room to grow into an awesome small project producer. Am I missing a page of tutorials for the Edit version? Are the Pro tutorials the same just having some extra features? Would like to stick with Vegas as it's what I used all throughout high school, it just seems pricey to spend 399 when I don't think I'd use 50% of the features and 249 when there seems to be minimal youtube and or other tutorials on the software,

Thanks.

Vegas Edit is Vegas Pro but without the add-ons that come Vegas Pro (i.e BorisFX Primatte Studio, Vegas Stream and Sound Forge Audio Studio). Please refer to the Vegas comparison webpage:

https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/product-comparison/#productMenu

If you don't need the Vegas Pro add-ons, then Edit is the one to go for. The basic NLE is exactly the same in all Vegas configurations.

Also, be aware that the extras listed under :"Exclusive in subscription" only come with the subscription model - they do not come with the perpetual licence purchase options.

If you still have your Vegas Pro 14 serial number (anyway, it should be on your MAGIX My Account under My Products), you may be eligible for the upgrade pricing for your chosen version of Vegas Pro 19 rather than needing a full new purchase assuming that you don't opt for a subscription purchase. Keep in mind that with the subscription model, access to Vegas Pro is only available while the subscription is active, whereas you have permanent access to Vegas Pro with a perpetual licence.
