Selectively prerendering works fine for me in Vegas Pro 15 e. g. with XDCAM EX.

Which build of Vegas Pro 15 do you use? And which render template did you try to use?

simon-bauer wrote on 3/8/2019, 12:15 PM

The latest build, 400 something. Select a section of the timeline I want to pre render, Shift-M and then select Mp4 1080p 30fps option (same as project settings) Use to work fine until these last two updates.

Cannot repro either in VP15 Build 416

If it's an AMD VCE template, this problem is known. It also exists in VP16 build 361. Templates without GPU acceleration work well.

@matthias-krutz interesting, with VP15 and VP16 using AMD VCE, everything works fine for me. The known problem you post about must be with only some users.

t may not be noticeable. It seems to work, but no file is created. The size of the created files is 0 kB and at the end no file can be found. Thus, the playback does not run smoothly. At least that's the case with my R9 380. Rendered via CPU, the files are generated and played back correctly.

Doesn't work here with the Fury X. The render seems to get done but there is either no file or it is not used. Also the color bar on top of the time line doesn't show the rendered section.

@matthias-krutz and @OldSmoke my apology, I am wrong. Doing it again, it was quite obvious, I suppose I was going a bit fast and had too many other things going on to recognize my error. Thank You for the correction.

AAC / AVC MP4 was not working. Although when I tried Blueray 1080-60i - field order (upper field first) it started to work..

This is really weird
