selectively paste effects

Hi Guys

if i want to paste a look to multiple clips where i already put effects, there are some problems why? When I paste a look in the clip where there are already effects (for example tv smulator), I selectively paste effects and effects keyframes (look copied from one clip), the previous effect that previously existed on the clip (tv simulator) disappear why?

That is it.

"selectively paste effects" made by VEGAS Team shouldn't be named "selectively paste effects", because it makes user misunderstand its function.

It should be named "selectively replace effects".😆

Why not paste that look to the whole track instead of pasting it to multiple clips on that track?

@rock-c In a literal sense, they're doing what "paste" is supposed to do. The default in every program in the world is to replace what you have selected with what's on the clipboard.

Having said that, it would be nice if the "selectively paste..." dialog had a checkbox that would let one append or merge rather than just replace.

Every software's default paste setting is appending in the click ( not drag to select string ) position not replacing . Such as Window Explore's File paste, PPT's slide paste, Excel's text paste ( click, not drag to select string ), Word's picture paste, After Effects' FX paste, Premiere's FX paste, Hitfilm Pro's FX paste, Edius' Paste, AVID's FX Paste...

Vegas Pro's paste is pioneering 😆. It just like when you paste a file to a folder which you click blank ( not drag to select string ) to select, the file indeed is pasted to the folder but other files are all deleted. This paste is indeed pioneering 😆.
