I,m editing my first project in Vegas pro 14. I used a wireless mic on one channel camera mic on other. How do I mute one channel or put one audio channel on both left and right audio tracks. I need to eliminate bad sound from camera mic. Can’t find info in help menu or in audio tutorials. Thx for helping a Vegas new b. JP

duplicate the audio track. Right click and select LEFT ONLY for one and RIGHT ONLY for the other.

Or use the default script "Stereo to Mono" from the "Extras" menu to separate.

I am unable to locate the "extras" menu in the version I am using. Can someone tell me if and where it is available in Pro 18? (The alternative method of separating the right and left audio tracks mentioned by Marco.)

Assuming VP-14 is like other VP versions, there is a setting where interleaved stereo will be automatically assigned to two separate mono channels when imported. "Options> Preferences> General> Import stereo as dual mono". A little less labor intensive then duplicating the stereo track and choosing the L, R or both channels.
