I like the look and music but I agree with winrock. Some reel audio in a couple of places would do the trick.

on the DVD I have a full project following this short which I feel takes care of this, but I may look into adding some natural sound.

Wow that looks really good! What did you shoot with? Did you shoot progressive or interlaced? That is a really nice looking encode.

all shot on DVX100A mostly 24P and colored in MB2

WMV 3Mbps (so it better look good :) )

Sry for the download delays i'm on a 7Mbit down so I don't suffer much with these things and don't always think of others.

well, I tried using some real audio in there and it just didn't work at all. So, Thanks for the suggestions guys, but unless I wanted to re do the whole thing this weekend I think this is good (and since a full projects is included at the end, I'd say I've got my bases covered).

Looks good. I see the point about using some real reel audio for the two talking heads. They're talking, after all, and they're the first shots. Maybe some alternatives to their audio would be to do them as moving pips just to deemphasize the fact that they're speaking. I think you showed an effect like that a year or so ago.

Just a snippet of real audio from those talking heads would really improve it. And maybe a little more later in the piece.

Also, being fussy, I didn't like the font, outlining, all-capitals or positioning of your "A DAY-VIDS PRODUCTION" right at the start.

Otherwise a nice job.
