Slow Motion Interpret

alifftudm95 wrote on 6/4/2022, 2:41 AM

Someone told me the proper way to slow down a video clip is to interpret it first as project frame rate. This can be done in Resolve, Premiere and other NLE.

In VEGAS, I dont see any options to interpret high frame rate video to project frame rate in media pools.

The only option I see is Properties > Conform. Is this similar as in the tutorial video above?

Reason why u interpret the video frame rate is to avoid stutter in slow motion.

Yeap, I was right, but still sceptical since its a mixture of tools "stretch and velocity", not baked on media level. Will try render and send to the production see if they spot any "stutter".

Can't you right click and add at project framerate? After that I add velocity envelopes to speed it up if needed.
