Smooth Start/Stop in Pan/Crop

@lan-mLMC I think it's lying in the architecture of the pan-crop tool, which hasn't change since decades, that there isn't a way to improve it. You could use the PiPFX instead, which has the possibility to animate using Bezier curved paths.

+1 for this feature.

@lan-mLMC Animation along a path is possible within the Protype Titler (unfortunately a deprecated feature):

@3POINT Yep I know. PTT can only animate text and character.

That's why they want to draw animation path directly in the preview window. They don't only want to animate text & character but also more events.

By the way, this wasn't the theme of this thread, reminder: "Smooth Start/Stop in Pan/Crop" and not animation along a path.

The samples you showed are made with Adobe After Effects and not with Adobe Premiere. To compare Vegas with Adobe After Effects isn't quite fair. Maybe better to compare with Vegas Effects, however I don't know if this is possible with Vegas FX, I have no experience with Vegas FX.

@3POINT That's true. So I just simply voted for Tech Dive and didn't expect there wiill be so many extra comments later. Maybe it's a good idea to stop commenting now.

Here is a demo of PR in point 6 "Spatial Interpolation".
