All I can now do is cut videos. I can not edit anything. It sucks for the cost.

There is insufficient information given about your computer, your Vegas product version and build, media, etc for anyone to provide any targeted advice about what to do. However, there is one thing you could do first off which is to reset your Vegas product back to factory settings as per: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-can-i-reset-vegas-pro-to-default-settings--104646/
The same approach applies to Vegas Movie Studio as per Vegas Pro.
#### The above applies only if your product is Vegas Movie Studio and not Movie Studio 2022 which, as pointed out just before by EricLNZ, is not a Vegas product.
