Software wont open after initial open.

So I updated my Movie Studio 17.0 Platinum on the 14th of this month and ever since then, when I try and open it, it freezes and only shows the window in black and white. no error message just blank. I have tried reinstalling it and I have tried using Ctrl Shift while opening it and neither worked. Ctrl Shift works initially but every time I save a project and try to reopen, the same thing occurs again. Please help!

Note it is important to clear the cache. Did you get the option when using Ctrl+Shift?

i have already tried this. it just reoccurs. It works initially but then spazzes out again
