I'm not sure that SFP18 is a great advance over SFP17 because the NEW features listed on SFP18's product webpage are 3D Reverb (Suite version only so unlikely to be part of the VP Post offer anyway), Storyblocks Content and Text-to-Speech the latter two features both of which come with Vegas Pro Post.

I'm still using SFP16 (which for me had some useful enhancements over previous versions) but never found a need to update to 17 or 18 - but then I've not needed any of the new features since.

Magix states Sound Forge Pro is included with Vegas Pro Post, I would assume it is the latest version (currently SFP-18) though the installation manager may bot have been updated yet. In any case, and as before, the third-party apps are included when SFP is purchased singularly are not included in in the VPP package deal.
Sound Forge Audio Studio 18 has not yet been published so SFAS 17 is included with the lesser priced Vegas Pro Suite.

Thanks for the info! I might still check with Magix support. It's a pity they don't specify this exactly at Vegas Pro Post feature list.

As a subscriber or Vegas Post Suite, I was able to get SF pro 18. I initially wasn't sure how to go about it, and the support team emailed me a link to the current Vegas pro installation manager and it had a link to Sound Forge 18
