SPAM posts are on the increase, and many of them are not as obvious as they used to be. The mods are hiding these posts as fast as we can but we don't like to see members wasting their time replying to them.
They're not so difficult to spot. The user invariably has only 1 or 2 posts on the forum. The SPAM post itself will be 2 or 3 paragraphs vaguely related to Vegas, often with out-of-date information. Somewhere in it will be a link to a commercial site with some descriptive anchor text. Sometimes the spammer will make a short post elsewhere on the forum in an attempt to appear like a legitimate poster.
Current flavor of the month is SPAM pointing to the ADVIDS website, who are obviously paying people for their trouble. Here's a typical post:
