I slowed down a portion where there is a shift of focus. It might just be natural bokeh from the glitter in the air and water due to large aperture . When it's in focus looks normal, out of focus it creates the bokeh. After the focus rack there's still glitter that looks normal and that looks to be along the thin plane of focus
PS. @brody-h Hi, just to show what @Former user mentioned, I stole a short clip of glitter in water from YT. added a glow just to brighten it a bit then added a few blurs & defocus fxs to create the Bokeh, in your vid it looks like maybe an oval mask/vignette was used because the 'blur' is around the outside or the woman was masked so the blur didn't affect her so much,
There's loads of fxs that could be added to increase exposure, brightness etc..
This is with just Vegas's Brightness & Contrast, & Defocus, a Bezier mask can be added to isolate the fx,
I think that animated sparkle is exactly what I am looking for. I am a hobbyist, so not super familiar with stuff. Is there a filter for Vegas that does this, or do I need to actually do my video and then run it through after effects for that effect?
