1. You went from firmware 1.05 to 1.08 and it made no difference.
When you first had this problem back in December, had you just flashed the drive to 1.05? How did you resolve the problem back then.

2. Did you try all of my suggestions above?

3. Give this a shot. Leave the "skip drive database" option unchecked and try it again.

FINALLY!

I opened a new, clean project for each half and started from scratch. That seems to have allowed me to burn the CDs, part 1 and 2. Problem is, I don't know what the problem was. This hit-and-miss approach is unacceptable.

Thanks to EVERYONE who held may hand through this!

Anyone interested in a set of coasters?

Anyone interested in a set of coasters?

I've kept every coast I've ever made (thankfully, not that many) PLUS all the AOL and other free CDs and DVDs I received over the years. It is now many feet high, stacked in the corner in the closet. This started back in the early 1990s when AOL was sending me several floppy disks some weeks and I got curious as to how many I was receiving. I think I received close to thirty in the first year I kept track.

I just got two CDs from them this morning, wrapped in my morning newspaper. They're in the stack already.

I am really happy for you Jay. Glad you have it working.
