For those who are getting the error please try to repro this bug for me:

Create a uad plugin chain.
Add a audio file to timeline.
Drag plugin chain from plugin manager to both audio track then master.
Hit play.
I always get the error here.

If you can repro please make sure to list any details about your system thats not available in your system info on this site. [You did fill it out right?]

Ed, have done your test. I don't get a playback error, but on I rendering get:

Using the UAD VST plugs:

"The Powered Plug-Ins are using 8192 sample buffers, and a new buffer size of 256 samples has been detected... etc"

Using the UAD DX plugs:

"Sorry, one or more Powered Plug-Ins have been disabled. The plugin was unable to load. Plugin buffer size mismatch (err=30)"

Vegas 6a
Uad 3.8.0
Echo Mia Midi driver 6.11.0.0 (though I don't think sound cards and drivers can have anything to do with render problems)

Now you know what I have been going through everyday for the last year and some. It SUCKS when Im trhe only one who has a certain problem, but it burns even more when other people start to have it later. I never know to tell sony which ones are vegas' fault and which ones are my incredible bad luck

Pipe, you my friend, do seem to have the worst luck, I feel your pain.
It probably doesn't help much, but now all of us UAD users are feeling some pain.

I'm hoping Peter/Sony finds a fix soon. I'm staying with V5 for some current UAD heavy projects and it kills me because I'd love to use V6 to take advantage the latest/greatest.
