SubClips and Saving

Hi everyone - I recently filmed a live theater performance over the course of several nights. I have gone though 1/2 of the footage and have selected the best performances from each night and created sub-clips. I then took those sub-clips into my timeline and did fine tune editing (transitions etc.).

I have saved the file, but because I am new to working with sub-clips....can someone verify that my saved file will "find" those sub-clips after I shut down the computer for the night? I'm not quite done with the project and do not want to lose what I've done so far when I return in the morning and open my veg file. I already know that sub-clips are saved in the media bin - but not on my hard-drive.

Thanks for your help in advance - and please let me know if I need to be more specific.

Subclips are not actual media files until the project is rendered. They are editing instructions. The subclips will show up in the media pool. After the Vegas project is saved they will last through a restart of Vegas Pro or a machine reboot.
