How do you make another button on the menu for the subtitle track selection verses the no subtitle button in DVD-A6? The Bluray video and audio tracks are already on the timeline with the subtitle track.
Insert an empty button and and under ACTION select the Subtitle option that you want.
Warning: I believe there was and still is a bug in DVDA-6 that will not turn off a subtitle once it is turned on. I think instead of turning it OFF, you have to select an empty subtitle track. It will work in preview correctly, it is only when you burn the disk that it is an issue so be sure you try a re-writable disk first.

Are you referring to this or something else? Would be interested in reading previous discussion, if anyone can find any.

Nick, thanks but that was a specific issue with a specific player. I will see if I can find the links on the problem I stated.
Ah OK, you're talking about that bug, which was the other one I had in mind. If you follow that thread further down you'll see me link to this earlier thread in which I eventually embarked on a hugely complicated fix using 3rd party free tools. It did however work, and my DVDs made with that fix behave themselves impeccably and don't get returned by paying customers. Unfortunately the thread is full of broken embedded images since Dropbox dropped their Public folder. I still have the images and will attempt to post them all on the thread in the near future.
