Suggestions or bugs of VEGAS POST

VEGAS Effects can't import .veg files so as to add FX in VEGAS Effects after editing in VEGAS Pro;

Media generator's events and empty events' "edit in VEGAS Effects" button can't function and wound resault in crash. This would make adding VE's FX to VEGAS Pro's texts and graphics unconvenient. As a contrast, boris red can be added to any event in VEGAS Pro including Media generator's events and empty events. So maybe boris red has higher integration with VEGAS Pro?

When clicking "edit in VEGAS Effects", the media-file-offline mode will be activated. This make VEGAS Pro which is already easy-crashing more easy to crash and have no response. Maybe VEGAS team could devote to improving media-file-offline mode;

Many OFX plugin in "common files/OFX/plugins" would resault in VE's crashing and not launching, just like making Sony Catalyst crashing. Maybe VEGAS team should make VE not scan "common files/OFX/plugins" if VE has crashed and not-launched for one time before. If not, we must manually move "common files/OFX/plugins" to "VEGAS Pro 17.0\OFX Video Plug-Ins". This is not only troublesome but also unconvenient for other OFX NLE like Davinci to load OFX;

If VEGAS Effects supports multi-language such as more asian languages, it will help VEGAS Pro greatly expand its market share.

You can't yet import .veg's into Vegas Effects, but if you send a video from Vegas into Vegas Effects, you can save the effects you add to it in Vegas Effects as a .vegfx file, which you can import back into Vegas without having to render anything. So, for now, as long as you are starting with a video source, the round trip from Vegas to Effects and back with no rendering between does work. I hear that they are working on tightening up the integration to include more than just video files being sent to Effects, so chances are your request will be addressed before too long.

I do not experience the instability you mention with media offline, so I can't comment on that.

I know this. But different people have different workflow. Some people who focus on editing (cutting) will be suitable to adapt this workflow. Other people who need to do a lot of special FX and composite work will be be suitable to adapt workflow to import .veg to VE, just like importing .prproject to AE.

Of course, I too have come across limitations due to this, but Effects is brand new, they're still building functionality into it. For now, it works, it will get better as they build on it. They know about this limitation and are working on it.
