Super Slow Motion with 60fps

Alrightie...My goal is to produce a butter smooth super slow motion (something like 20% speed)...I don't have the clips yet, but the guy tells me it's 3840 x 2160p / 59.94 fps (150 Mbps) mov file. The clip is just people walking around.

Is it best to put this in twixtor or just dump it on my 29.95 timeline and reduce the velocity to 30%. I can't test it because I don't have the clips yet..and I need to move fast when I get them. It has to be super smooth with no jitter/studdering

Thanks

Exactly 50% from 59.94 to 29.96 will work OK in Vegas but anything slower won't look great because there is no "optical flow" technology built in. So Twixtor would be better. Using MVtools in AviSynth is another option but there's a fair bit of setting up to do.

You could also convert file to cineform, then use the "flux" slow motion - it looks pretty much just like Twixtor / optical flow (and its free!)
