1. Where and which player are you playing that rendered file?
2. Which projectsettings did you use for that rendered project?
3. What is the MediaInfo of the most used sourcefiles?
4. What (customized?) rendertemplate did you use for that render?
5. What is the buildnumber of your used VPro 17?

My Vegas Pro 17 is new. I'm using all default settings. Before I get into the post-render issue, I have a major problem while editing. When insert an image, which is snapped to the grid (it's a music video, and I set the grid to match my bpm, so that's fine). When I insert an image, although it appears on the track itself, the image on the preview screen appears late. It doesn't appear at the start of the clip. I hope that makes sense. This is my 1st issue.

My apologies. I use VLC media player. I don't know how to view the mediainfo.

Accepted, but I think it's better for you first to learn the habits and possibilities of this forum by reading, reading and reading. Maybe that you also learn that I gave already you a link how to get and post MediaInfo.

I watched it, but didn't follow. Thanks.

There was nothing to watch? j-v gave you a link to a Nick Hope post telling you where to download Mediainfo, run it on your file and report the results here. Without the info your fellow forum members cannot help you.

It says to open the file with mediainfo. That's the part I don't follow. (I meant read, not watched)

I don't currently have Mediainfo installed as I use MPC-HC to get my info. But from memory you open Mediainfo then tell it which file you want to examine. There's a drop down File menu which allows you to browse to your file.
