On the positive side of the equation...

When I "time-shift", I spend a lot of effort to remove commercials from program material. If a commercial really hooks me, I leave it in on purpose.
Here are two that I've left in recently.





I also have a folder of my favorites going back many years.

I consider the best commercials the ones that keep my attention AND tell me about the product.
My most recent favorite:


I don't watch enough TV to see many commercials, but the best ads I've seen are by the Fuccillo family of dealerships in Grand Island, NY and Might Taco in Buffalo, NY. No, they don't have high production values but there's a good variety of them, they've got a great tagline, sell their product well and are entertaining. When I was down in Dallas in '05 even people there knew about Mighty Taco and the closest one was in NY!
