Are people happy with Vegas 18?

Not important if others are happy with it.
You like it or not and that you can test through a trial version.
btw I'm happy with it for my normal workflow.

met vriendelijke groet

I didn't think of that. You're right. I should try the trial

For my workflow needs... I'm happy with VP18 ~ especially for the color 'full-range' 8-bit option. Can do better coloring.

Well, I just bought the Vegas Post Suite.as an early Christmas present to myself. So far I'm loving the Motion Tracker! I was too dumb to figure out Mocha Pro and doing it before in Vegas, but this one in Vegas 18 works easily for my simple mind. I'm glad I started this thread in that I think I might use the motion tracker instead of the cookie cutter now to fix areas of my video. I'm hoping this Vegas Image software is better than Photoshop or Corel. I bought it, not knowing the chroma-key part of it wasn't for video.

Well, I just bought the Vegas Post Suite.as an early Christmas present to myself.

That's great, now you can learn from some VEGAS POST tutorials :

https://fxhome.com/video-tutorials#/hitfilm-pro-tutorials

https://fxhome.com/video-tutorials#/hitfilm-express-tutorials

Pls note : VEGAS POST's VEGAS Effects is a powerful VFX tool remoulded from Hitfilm Pro. But it doesn't possess these Hitfilm features :

1. Eediting feature,

2. Foundry camera tracker,

3. Mocha hitfilm,

4. BCC 3D Objects,

5. After Effects plugins support.

So if you encounter tutorials which refer to these features, you need to bypass them.

These are specialized Vegas Effects tutorials. But they are a little dishevelled and not systematic.
