Many thanks for the suggestion, @lan-mLMC. I've just re-installed Ignite Pro 5.0 and moved the two folders to Vegas Pro's OFX Video Plug-ins as suggested. Hopefully, that will solve the problem as it has for you. Thanks again.

I found this thread, wondering the fate of Vegas Post long term. My experience in contracts is that when mergers happen, companies will do what they want, to reach the ends they want, and let the lawyers argue for years over the details. Often when the dust settles, the point is moot for the companies and users alike. Vegas Post is a cool product and I hope it lives a long life! And I see it has a new update!

If, however, it doesn't come to pass that there is a version beyond VP 19, would you feel like you have a good package? I've been thinking about upgrading to Post and I was wondering if it's a work in progress that might not be finished or a stable product as is, that might not get new features? Microsoft has made it clear my 16 core, dual Xeon, 64gb, RTX 2070 weilding computer is unworthy of Windows 11, so future updates are less of a concern than current status.

I'll download the demo, but I'm sure our users have put it through more than I can in a 30 day window. I've used HFE and HFP and always liked editing in Vegas better, using Ignite or HF as needed. I'm not starting from scratch, but I'd appreciate experienced input!

@MikeS as in a new update for @zaubermac, not a "new update".

This question has been asked, but I am sure that the people at Vegas and FXHome have discussed this a while ago. Buyouts take a little time and the lawyers have to read through current contracts, etc..

While I do not have Post, I personally do not see Post interfering with HFP sales at the moment. BUT if HFP goes only subscription and Vegas Post remains perpetual/subscription, then I can see HFP people possibly coming over to Post.

The water at the moment is certainly "muddy".
