the preview screen freezes and I lose 10 20 seconds when I cut the vid

I'm going to edit a video for my youtube channel, but I just started to experience that it starts to freeze on the preview screen and I cut the part I'm going to cut in 20 seconds 

 

 

 

please help me !

or how can i make the preview screen black then it doesn't freeze but if i turn off the preview screen i can't edit the video.

my graphic card is gtx1650 ti 4 gb I have 24 gb ram

Look, I'm going to cut a video, I'm going to cut it to the minute and when I cut it, the render screen freezes for 10 seconds and then comes back, but it slows down my work very much, how can I solve this.

For a start provide full media info on your source media so we can see what is in the file that is causing your problem.

Did you mute the video track or close the preview window?
