the preview screen freezes and I lose 10 20 seconds when I cut the vid

I'm going to edit a video for my youtube channel, but I just started to experience that it starts to freeze on the preview screen and I cut the part I'm going to cut in 20 seconds

please help me !

or how can i make the preview screen black then it doesn't freeze but if i turn off the preview screen i can't edit the video.

my graphic card is gtx1650 ti 4 gb I have 24 gb ram

For a start provide full media info on your source media so we can see what is in the file that is causing your problem.
