Thanks for the explanation. Can you please tell me how I can type in/edit the position and rotation coordinates. There seems to be no way to do this easily.

You can dock it, but then, of course, when you use the Titler it activates the Media Generator tab which means whatever you had showing no longer is. Not really liking this new way. It seems to ignore undo more as well.

Kit, you can just double-click the number and type in any number you wish.

Kit, both windows can be moved and resized however you desire. I've been playing with it and it's not really an issue from what I'm seeing. If you don't want to close both windows, just close the Media Generator window and Titler Pro will close as well.

Thanks for prompting me to retry. I had tried double-clicking but often found I'd just get one number rather than all of them or I'd set the slider going and get some irrelevant number. However, I just found that when that happens I can use the left and right arrow keys to select all the numbers.

Thanks for the tip.

jetdv, I'm not sure why mine, all I do after drop to timeline, is hit cnt Z but the window screen for TP keeps popping up in my face for, sometimes 8 times, sometimes 11 times, sometimes 4 times, God knows, before it undo it.
Anyone else having this problem?

Thanks.. Just installed and tried it. So far I like it.

Resizing the window works, but.....on a laptop real estate is precious. Can it be coded to start minimized perhaps? If the trade-off is for stability, then I can live with it..but.....wahhhh!!

TP2 is well worth it. It has it's quirks and has a history of crashing VP. In my application, it likes to be installed last in terms of plugins...

CCArt, I would like for you to record that in such a way that we can see it and send it to support at newblueinc dot com
jetdv wrote on 12/20/2013, 11:36 AM
skeeter, what window do you want minimized?
CCArt wrote on 12/20/2013, 3:42 PM
jetdv, I'll have to record a movie clip, I don't know any other way of doing it, but again how will I post that in here?

Jet,

The "Video Media Generators" window is the issue for me..It's the one that never popped up before....

Thanks!

Thank you for releasing a working, stable build, so i finally can work with builds >121206 (vegas pro 12).
i dont care for the second window as long i can work without crashes. it would be nicer without that window, but...

jetdv wrote on 12/23/2013, 4:23 PM
CCArt, sent it to NewBlue support's e-mail.
jetdv wrote on 12/23/2013, 4:24 PM
Skeeter, actually the Video Media Generators is the only window that appeared before. Titler Pro is now opening in a separate window. This is because it is not running as a separate process.
jetdv wrote on 12/23/2013, 4:24 PM
Thanks for the update, Gary. We've been working hard to make it as stable as possible.

What performance hit does the new separate process entail. There is some data transfer of info to<-from-> the stub in Vegas to the new separate process.

Thanks, Jet!

hmmm... "not running as a separate process"?

jetdv wrote on 12/24/2013, 9:29 AM
Norman, there was always data going back and forth. I don't think the data flow changed any.

CCArt, the issue you illustrate in that video has already been sent to the developers.
