Too much motion blurr

I normally work with 1080p 25fps footage with project properties set the same.
I render main concept avc 720p 25fps and all looks great. Now I
Have some fast movement shots taken at 720p 50fps along with the 25fps stuff. The 50fps clips look sharp when playing the native file but after rendering look too blurred. Render template has "adjust frame rate to source" checked but makes no difference. What am I doing wrong. I just want the rendered video to look like the 50fps source.

Turn off "adjust frame rate to source", and also disable resampling on the fast motion clips. You do this by right-mouse-button clicking on the video event on the timeline and from the popup menu choose Switches / Disable resample. When you render from 50 to 25, Vegas normally blends every other frame together creating the blur and ghosting. Disabling resampling will make it drop every other frame instead leaving you with a sharp image.
