I don't think so.

You should be able to apply media fx to one event, copy that event and select all the other events and do "paste event attributes" to apply media fx to multiple events.

I suspect vitus has proposed the solution. Track level composite envelope.

relaxvideo wrote on 1/30/2017, 10:34 AM

Actually vitus suggestion to use composite envelope is only good for fade.
My original problem was mixing/dissolve videos with different levels.

Xberk: no, i cannot copy/paste media fx attribute. Only can copy/paste video event fx attribute.
But then if i already applied some other fx to events, then copy levels and paste, i loose the other fx.

Vegasaur will allow you to apply effects to the media pool. It is worth the money.

Whoops. Right relaxvideo. Got mixed up with "pasting event attributes" which I do all the time.

yes, why can't we have "paste/add event fx" to selected events?

We have it. There are scripts which do this. This is why scripting was added to Vegas Pro — to add specialized workflows.

relaxvideo, there is excellent free extension: Timeline Toolse by MOA Software L.L.C. http://www.nfatoys.com/moasoftwarellc/Default.htm

that allows add effects chains to selected events. But note that it only works for versions of Sony.
