Trying to Put Stationary Text in My Video But the Text Keeps Moving

Hello,

I am trying to put some basic text in a video that I am making with Sony Vegas Pro 11. I am using the setting of going into
View> Media Generators>Titles and Text. So I put the text in the video, and it is stationary (doesn't move), but then when I go back to edit the text or to add another Media Generated section of Text on a new Video Track, the text moves. I drag the text to where I want it, and then, the text does this thing where it mirrors the dragging sequence I did and it won't stand still. All I want is the text to not move. I have the Animated option off, so I don't know why my text won't just stop moving. I used to be able to do this perfectly, but I can't get it to cooperate anymore. If anyone knows if maybe I have a setting selected on accident, or any answer, I would really appreciate any help that anyone could provide. Thanks.

@buckbenedict - Hi BB! - Well my first guess is that amongst the Controls you've introduced some Keyframes that have instructions to reposition your Text. We'd need to see some more details of your Setups.

Thank you. Would some screen shots of my project help?

From your problem timeline and from your T&T screen of the problem text settings.

Hi. Here is a screen capture of my Sony Vegas 11 Project. Do you see the text that I have? Well, when you click on the beginning of the text plates, all of the text moves (mirrors the way I moved them in to place, I think), and comes into place. The text doesn't move after it comes in to place, but all I want to do is have the text completely stationary, and I can't for the life of me think what the problem is. I used to put text into all my videos, and now I can't because any text I put into my videos is animated against my wishes. Thanks. Sorry if this is confusing. I really need to figure out this problem and I appreciate your helping me to do that. :)

I also have uploaded a brief video to YouTube of my problem so you can see it in motion. Look closely at the upper right. The text is not stationary at first. At first, it moves in to place and I didn't want it to do that.

Here is the link to my unlisted YouTube video:

In the Video Media Generators window there's a little white diamond to the right of your cursor. That's a keyframe. Try deleting it or dragging it all the way to the left. You can undo afterwards if necessary, or reopen the project.
