The perils of tinkering with the registry.

First, go to the Vegas Pro 20 listing under My products on your MAGIX My Account and download and run the Vegas Pro 20 installer.

If that doesn't work, you may need to manually do a complete 'clean' uninstall of vegas Pro 20 from your computer as per the instructions given in https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-can-i-do-a-clean-uninstall-of-vegas-pro--111205/

Please note that anywhere in the procedure that mentions 'Sony Creative Software' in a registry folder name, for Vegas Pro 20 the relevant registry folder name will instead be 'Vegas Creative Software'.

With the clean uninstall completed, you should be able to install Vegas Pro anew.
