I watched Logitech's promotional videos - it's really impressive what this mouse can do. A lot of keyboard work is shifted to the mouse - which is usually held in the hand anyway.
@walter-i. - I thought that that inertia Motor was just a gimmick, but now it’s such a storming feature that I just flick the Thumbwheel and I’m through loads of Events. Also, the ability to use it’s buttons for a control inside of VegasPro is astonishingly refreshing. I didn’t buy it at this great discount and I honestly don’t regret it, if anybody is considering a replacement meece, do do consider this Rodent 😊!
@Grazie ... This looks great. And its about $10 AUD less expensive from a local specialist computer store - also without the 3% credit card international currency transfer fee.
I've recently been thinking about getting a new mouse because my equally expensive Dell Alienware mouse loses its ratchet action after about 10-15 minutes of use. It's still under warranty (2 years) but there isn't all that much advantage to it over a budget optical mouse other than it having a rechargeable ion-lithium battery - which is good. And it does have some good adjustments to personalise its responses but I've ended setting up just like the response from a budget mouse.
I've yet to watch the product videos but @Grazie , have you found this mouse to be sturdy and well-constructed. Right now, I think that I want to go out and trap one of these meeces. Unlike Mr Jinx of 'Pixie and Dixie' fame, I don't hate those meeces to pieces.

@Dexcon - Bit of history: My previous three rodents were from the MX Performance Range too. I also rate Logitech stuff on Ergonomics, Endurance and Style. I’m a bit of a Controller-Beast, with my CSP2 and my PreSonus FaderPort 8. Oh yeah, Just got a Logi Webcam. Logi hasn’t disappointed me. Their after sales service is excellent. And if you have to use it, their returns policy is 100% too.

@Dexcon - Do watch the YT Vids on them. The inertia Motor has gotta be experienced to really get the idea.
@Grazie ... I did the click and collect thing for the MX Master 3 and collected it today. My first impressions are excellent - and I've only just started to explore its user-definable features via the LogiOptions app. Thank you so much for lodging your post about this mouse - it is going to make my editing life just that bit easier. In fact, its going to make life easier for using the computer in general.
One question though re:

The scroll wheel works brilliantly fast expanding and contracting the timeline, but always centred on the curser of course. But on the timeline, the 'thumb wheel' does nothing even though its set to 'horizontal scroll' on the Logi app for VP19 which has been added as an additional device. I've tried other options for the thumb wheel like 'up/down' which does scroll the timeline vertically. Is there perhaps something that I am missing in the mouse setup in order to get the thumb wheel to work on VP's timeline?
@Dexcon - On T/L? Hold down Ctrl+SHIFT ..... Flick and .... Stand well back .. Just Flicked through 20 minutes of T/L in, er... 8 seconds? Keep Flicking and you're there too.
Got it - it flicks the timeline preview with the preview rate depending on the flick speed on the scroll wheel - impressive. Thank you.
You should give it go on a looooong Spreadsheet!?
Yes. I've sampled Excel and its very flexible. But haven't found much difference with MS Word thus far (one test only so far). But then for decades I've always been keen to get new tech set up and working to meet my immediate needs, and then 6 months later I read the user manual and realise with other functions, "Wow - I didn't know it could do that!" And that's even before new tech came with 'Quick Setup' info.
