What........so we only get about a week to purchase their offer/upgrade? What's the darn hurry? And the upgrade for SVP is $100 dollars more than we usually paid. And if we miss the deadline it's $600 ?
Ye...don't like that strategy to, i was excited before 20 September, today i did finally get email back (after contacting customer support and complain on their facebook) for the offer/upgrade, now i can have it i don't want it, the new things (prores and other things like boris plugins) is great but the GPU support is bothering me too much, not worth the money-upgrade/offer, well for me it is, a friend of mine bought the VP13 suite a time ago and can now pay $350 again, he said to..i stay at VP13, their should be a different between an offer and upgrade-offer, for upgraders who have VP13 bought it shouldn't be the same as new buyers ( so an offer), a ripp-off
I see no reason why an upgrade via https://support2.magix.com/customer/vegas/upgrade will cease to exist after 27th September, and the price you get there may well be cheaper than the other upgrade/offers that have been communicated.
Edit: This of course assumes that the upgrades there are ever updated beyond VP13.
As I wrote in another thread in the forum, I got a response from Magix Support in which the tech told me that there was no expiration date, even though there is one on the page and on the email newsletter. Confusion abounds.
